This wine comes from the coolest region in Greece called Zitsa. This area's continental climate and high altitude produce wines that are far from the sunny, Mediterranean climate we imagine when we picture Greece. Made from the indigenous grape variety called Vlahiko, this bottling from Glinavos is medium bodied and really earth driven - lots of savory spice, damp herbs, bright and crunchy red and black fruit, and tons of tertiary notes. So much character and charm!
