Vallana is historically linked to Alto Piedmonte, helping put this region on the map for high quality Nebbiolo (or Spanna, as it's known in the area). This entry level bottling from Vallana shows off the cooler climate of Alto Piedmonte, with bright red fruit and lifted aromatics - what impresses us most about this wine is the refinement of tannins. For a young Nebbiolo, this wine is incredibly approachable, thanks in part to the small amount of Vespolina in the blend.
