Starting with a healthy base of dangerously drinkable carbonic Grenache, Stolpman takes this wine up a notch by adding Gamay and Trousseau, two thin-skinned red varieties. These additions add elegance and lift to the blend, adding more crunchy and tart fruit, salinity and savory freshness. The perfect chilled red for the wine drinker who still wants complexity in addition to crushability. Best served chilled, 30 minutes after removing from the fridge.
