Michele Chiarlo "Cipressi" Nizza Barbera 2019
There's some really good Barbera being made in Nizza, and this Cipressi bottling is one of them! Recognized as its own DOCG in 2014, Nizza is producing serious wines with character and complexity based entirely on the Barbera grape. Instead of juicy red fruit and smooth tannins you find in many Barbera from Asti or Alba, we get more dark fruit and grippier tannins.
