The second wine of Château Climens and an absolute dream. Rather than being a "lighter" version of the Grand Vin, Cypres de Climens has the same concentration of flavor and texture, but is more fresh and vibrant in its fruit tones. Winemaker Berenice Lurton vinifies all the estate's Semillon with the same care and precision, and it's only after barrel aging does she decide which barrels go into Château Climens and which go to Cypres de Climens. Unctuous and rich without being cloying, honeyed, tropical, and oh so tasty.
