Light, Soft, & Savory - don't think powerhouse, think poised

This cuvée comes from a plot of 0.7 hectares of Grenache vines of about 48 years old, cultivated on a soil composed of sand on the Rayner Vineyard . The grapes are selected from less productive vines, in order to obtain a very concentrated fruit. Fermentation begins spontaneously with indigenous yeasts. Part is fermented in ovoid ceramic vats on the skins for 120 days, another part is fermented in whole bunches and others in whole berries.
