Spain is such a great place to go for full-bodied reds at an affordable price, and Juan Gil's Silver is all the evidence you need. This wine is made from organically grown 40+ year old Monastrell (the Spanish word for Mourvedre) and aged in French Oak for 12 months. All that concentration in the vineyard, all that spice and complexity in oak aging, at an incredibly good price.
