The 2019 Holus Bolus Syrah is sourced from a small planting of Syrah at John Sebastiano Vineyard in the eastern edge of the Sta. Rita Hills appellation. The block sits at 1200’ elevation and is consistently exposed to the brunt of the Pacific breeze. This sunny but cool site creates a cool climate Syrah with soft texture and savory notes of olive tapenade and smoked meats. The wine is made with 25% whole clusters at fermentation and aged for 14 moths in 350 liter barrels. 350 cases produced, 13.5% alcohol
